To operate the platform: show tutor profiles, pass tutoring requests and messages between students and tutors, manage tutor subscriptions, provide analytics to tutors, moderate content, keep the platform secure and meet legal duties. We process information on the basis of your consent, our agreement with you, legal obligations and our legitimate interests. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can withdraw at any time.

Tutor profile details are shown publicly to students. Request details are shared with the tutor you contact. Reviews are shown without the reviewer's identity. We use hosting, database and email providers who process data on our behalf, and we disclose information where the law requires. We do not sell personal information.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encrypted chat storage and private storage with short-lived links for documents. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Records of your acceptances and consents may be kept longer where needed to show compliance.
